Ack Ack Award: David Axelrod

Obama adviser David Axelrod wins's Trousertube's first Ack Ack Award for his tortured defense of the president's position on equal marriage rights for gay people: he both opposes same sex marriage but supports equality for gay and lesbian people.

The Ack Ack Award takes its name from this clip from the Tim Burton film Mars Attacks!:

It refers to the tendency of people in our government to attack us while claiming to be on our side.  In this example, the White House claims to be on the side of equality for gay people while continuing to defend laws that dicriminate against us.
